LEASH MANNERS TRAINING

Call or text Andrew at 604.866.0405 for more information

Taking your dog for a walk is one of the best combinations of exercise and relationship-building you can have, so it's really disappointing to hear how many people don't enjoy going for a wak with their dog due to problems with leash-manners. By this I mean on-leash pulling, and on-leash reactivity or aggression.

It's for this very reason that I developed 'Master The Walk' which is divided into three separate programs to address these common leash-related issues.

Each program features:

  • One-on-one training - I travel to you

  • Friendly and upbeat - training should be enjoyable for you and your dog

  • No corrections, no force, no harsh collars

PROGRAM ONE :

LOOSE LEASH WALKING

This is a training program for dogs that are leash-pullers but are NOT reactive to other dogs, people, vehicles, etc.

PROGRAM TWO :

REACTIVE DOG

This is a behaviour modification program for dogs that are NOT leash-pullers, but ARE reactive to other dogs, people, etc.

PROGRAM THREE :

LOOSE LEASH & REACTIVE

For dogs that are leash-pullers AND are reactive to other dogs, people, vehicles, etc., this is a combination of Program 1 and 2.

SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?

If you're worried that 'Master The Walk' sounds too good to be true, you might be in for a surprise. The vast majority of the leash-pulling dogs I personally handle are happily walking on a loose leash within half-an-hour and, most importantly, without the use of heavy-handed tactics or harsh collars.

From Rikki  “Yesterday was such a great lesson with you… it is obvious you love what you do and your compassion for animals really comes through in your teaching.”

From Carmin  “We have done three nice long walks now with both dogs, trying out the techniques you advised us on. The progress has been exceptional, and immediate.”

From Judy  “My dog is doing fantastic. This morning I practiced your technique only for a few minutes before he caught on and stayed right beside me. We had the best walk yet on a relaxed leash!”
