"Andrew is a true professional in his field. Over the years I’ve tried probably 20 different dog trainers and I’ve never experienced true value and education as when I worked with Andrew. Extremely gracious with his expertise and time, me and my dog were stress free the whole time. We both had so much fun and it was all based on rewarding her good behaviours. Although everything takes time and consistency, we are so pleased to have found Andrew to help us reach our goals! Would highly recommended."
"A great experience from consult to visit. Andrew understands behaviour and explains it in a way the whole family can understand. He is kind and respectful. We are thankful we found him."
"I found the session on Friday incredibly helpful and packed with lots of information and guidance that I sadly needed. Providing such a detailed recap allows easy reference to the wealth of information when I'm putting things into practice!"
"We are already making progress on our walks. Not nearly as much reacting to people ... I already feel much more relaxed when we go out!"
"Something just seemed to click. Whether he feels more secure or realized that he is much loved and we are here to help him. He was very loving much more than normal. These last couple of days, we've both noticed his recall is much better. Thank you again for your insight, time and wisdom. Much appreciated."
"Thank you again for all of your help. You have no idea how much we appreciate your advice!"
"Thank you, that was the best dog training class I've done, hands down!"
"We recently had Andrew visit our home to assess our dog's nervous/fearful behaviour. He thoroughly explained the logic behind our dog's behaviour so that we would understand why he acts in certain ways, and practically described how the behaivour modification program works. Furthermore, Andrew is extremely generous with his time, and he provides recommendations that are simple to follow. We gained a great deal of information from our first meeting which we are now able to implement on our own. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone considering training!"
"Maverick's abilities while walking are continuously improving and he's been doing really well at not fixating on people. It's always encouraging when we have a successful walk, and even the small instances where he reacts is nothing compared to how he did a month ago."
"Dakota is doing amazing! She is walking beside me and I'm actually enjoying going for walks now. I just took her for a walk and we actually saw a dog and she didn't even do anything. There were also dogs barking in the window of a house and she didn't do anything ... she actually just wanted to keep walking. Thank you!"
“I wanted to thank you for helping me gain the tools to help Nylah :) We had a wonderful week working together on her reactivity and am happy to report she had many wonderful greetings with off-leash dogs."
"Thank you for checking in, it is amazing to see how much you care as most trainers in the dog world stop checking in once they aren't getting paid anymore! My dog is doing much much better now that MY anxiety is under control. It took me a while to understand how the psychology works but now that I do I can introduce him to just about anyone in the right environment and situation. He is doing really well ... he finally had a good experiene with my boyfriend's roomate who is very nervous of dogs. They played fetch together and had a great night!"
"Thanks so much Andrew ... your words of wisdom make complete sense (just not the kind we can come up with on our own)!"
“I cannot recommend this dog trainer enough. He is amazing, clearly loves and understands dogs and makes it easy to work with your dog to get the result you want. My new dog put me in the Massage Therapist after two walks. Andrew came over and had Tanner walking for me with a loose leash after 10 mins! Thank you Andrew!"
“Thor was amazing today! Two dogs walked past us on the other side of the street and he looked at them but no reaction! So proud. Thank you very much for the session on Friday."
“Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put in with us so far! After numerous conversations with various trainers, it was nice to find someone who is willing to listens to our needs as a family. You have already given us so much information to work with. We would like you to come and work with us some more... Thank you again!"
“I can't thank you enough for being so generous with your time and wisdom. Your guidance in handling (our dog) has been invaluable. I am especially thrilled about the technique you recommended about 'completing the circle' when he demonstrates undesirable behaviour and guiding him to desirable behaviour. I thinkk that is really going to help us move forward with him."
“Tyson is doing well. His walks have definitely improved since your visit ... it's a work in progress but we have been able to get him out more and for longer walks. Looks like he is losing some weight in the process which is good and he has more energy."
“Thanks again for coming out. The one session with Milo has improved his leash-manners immensely. Can't wait to see how he progresses in phase two."
“I truly appreciate all the time, care and understanding you have given me. It is so very refreshing to find someone like-minded when it comes to the care of our family members otherwise known as 'dogs' :-)"
“Our walks have been on a loose-leash with Rocky walking at my side ... you have worked a miracle. Rocky has been good for Chris on their walks too!"
“Mark was super pleased with how the session went and can't wait to continue. Thank you very much for your time."
“Thank you again for your time with me on Wednesday, it gave me a ton of ideas and set my mind at ease about a lot of things. You are a gem! I'll recommend you to anyone."
“Thank you very much for your email and information... she's doing better. Thanks again for your great advice!"
“On the whole I think he is getting better each day. Greeting at the door is now much better and he doesn't try to jump up, and with family we don't bother with the muzzle any more. We had a few friends over and on the whole he was very good. Our son and daughter and her boyfriend are able to come and go pretty much without any incident now. We have not had time to mix him with other dogs for a while but he is good when seeing other dogs out walking. One the whole we are very pleased with how things are going."
"Thank you so much for coming to meet with me the other day! I have already started to implement things and Molly is doing great!"
“Yesterday was the first day that we went through a visitor experience and it was a pretty big one for the dogs because I think there were about 7 people over at our place for a BBQ. Overall, it was a huge success... This BBQ was something that I was majorly stressing out about because of the dogs, but they rocked it."
“I feel much better about your training than any other training we've had thus far. You are accommodating my husbands busy work schedule so we really appreciate that you can meet on weekends. We feel you are very thorough and we love that. We also really feel that you connect with our dog. In the past our other trainers never made the effort to interact with him although they were supposed to be training him! We feel we really enjoy the instruction and our dog does too!”
“Thanks again for coming over and helping with my dog. I have been using the technique you taught me and it is working very well. Thank you very much for your time, help and your advice.”
“The visit with you was great. You gave us a lot to work on and and a lot of faith in our dogs - we can't thank you enough for that. Giving us steps to work towards things was very helpful :). We've done a lot of it and we can see how it's helping."
“There’s something quite unique about your approach to the dogs and training. I like what you’ve got to say, your energy, and the way you handle yourself.”
“We all enjoyed meeting you and valued your advice, knowledge and your instruction. Thank you for your great follow up, I will get back to you to sign up for a few more sessions.”
“We have taken her out a few times, testing her, which is good so far. We are very happy with what you have taught us so far as well... easy to follow."
“Follow @premier_dogs for more than just ‘training’ advice! Working with Andrew is like having a translator for your dog!”

“I just wanted to thank you again. I like the things you said about dogs and agreed with everything you had to say about our dog in particular. Thank you again from all of us.”
“Yesterday was such a great lesson with you… it is obvious you love what you do and your compassion for animals really comes through in your teaching.”
“Thank you for yesterday – it has given me the confidence to take charge of my dog. She did not growl or get anxious at another dog that was about 3 feet away. Good dog!”
“You are fantastic and we are both impressed with you and very much appreciated you coming out, we both learned a lot, and were happy to find you such a likeable and gentle, positive coach. I was so happy that you were so positive and encouraging with my daughter, she really feels good about her experience with you.”
“Dante is doing really well!!! I am actually surprised at how fast I can see the changes happening.”
“Thanks for today. We are so pumped right now, and you were amazing!”
“Thank you again for taking the time to come up to meet with us. Carly has been doing well … the techniques you showed me have really made a difference. I have given your name to a couple of friends who have dogs of their own and I highly recommended you … the fact that you made me feel comfortable which in turn made Carly feel comfortable, also your way of teaching is very nice. I was extremely impressed.”
“They are doing amazing – we have absolutely no issues anymore. Everything is great, thank you so much for your help! I’m so glad I got in contact with you.”
“I have been doing my training with the dogs – I can’t believe the change in them! Monday … one day later with Kitty and a man walking down the street was watching us. He stopped and told me what a well-behaved dog Kitty was. She vaguely looked at him but kept focusing on me. It was almost as if you had set up that scene! It sure made me feel good. I am sure glad I got a hold of you.”
“We have done three nice long walks now with both dogs, trying out the techniques you advised us on. The progress has been exceptional, and immediate. We both REALLY appreciated the session with you, and my job of walking the dogs every day has gotten a lot easier as a result of what we’ve learned… yeah, major improvements right now.”
“He has made large improvements with not jumping up and now just sits in front of me when he wants attention!”
“Just wanted to send a quick note and say thanks so much for your time today. It’s obvious you care about and enjoy what you do and you definitely gave us some great tips. I have a few girls who I will be passing your info on to as well. I also have to fill you in on Bailey’s progress which is already great by the way. I think it just took us learning some new skills and hearing you say that she does have what it takes to be a good dog. We already have so much more confidence and faith in her which I believe she can already sense. Our entire attitude towards her has shifted for the better. My husband also really enjoyed the session with you and liked how you put things in terms he could understand. He was also happy to learn the proper way to put on their collars and even just how to walk the dogs properly as he was never taught growing up. The way he was jerking on Bailey’s collar and speaking down to her was what the other trainer had taught us to do so we are both happy to be breaking those habits since we know they do not work. Anyways I could go on and on about her but maybe I’ll wait for a follow up session!”
“The dogs haven’t had any other incidences. We haven’t allowed any toys or bones to be left lying around like you suggested. So far so good. They play together all the time. Thanks again for your time and expertise!”
“Rollie is great. He had a big day today, a couple of hours in doggy daycare. He got positive reviews, got along with everybody! We’ve been out to the farmer’s market, hardware store, work, and walk with friends… he’s listening more and waiting until he is allowed to do something.”
